Overview
About Me
I am Canadian biologist and I love to travel. I breed corn snakes and foster a cat for half the year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of meeting people when I travel. I want to find a way to travel that really shows me the nature, culture and people in the area as well as helps maintain that culture and the local environment. I feel like couch surfing as a way of traveling is less impactful that going on a cruise or staying at a resort so I appreciate that and the entire experience of it being more personal.
I love to host people to return the favour and hear the stories from other travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Terry Pratchett books among many others but that is what I am reading now that I love (the Discworld series).
I have a wide variety of taste in movies, music and tv shows. For music anything from rock, folk, electronic, metal- I'm note very picky. I like comedy, action, fantasy, sci-fi and/or thriller for movies and tv shows.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Japan for a year- that was pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a guest I would love to learn new languages (or practice them since I am very bad at learning languages actually) and see where the locals go to eat, drink, etc.
I love to cook so we can exchange recipes and teach each other more about our language/culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experiences traveling so far and my love of biology and culture.
