Hello!
My name is Pauline. I grew up in Malaysia and have the good fortune of experiencing the confluence of both East-West cultures. I enjoyed both Hollywood and Bollywood and all the other Asian cultures. I am Chinese by ethnicity but grew up in a wonderfully tri-lingual and mixed-race (Chinese/Indian/Malay) society.

I am a 60 yo semi-retired medical interpreter (English-Mandarin). I love my job as it provides a sense of comfort and safety for my LEP patients, and most of them are elderly patients.

I love Nature the most and I love everything related to our beautiful planet Earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and I love to immerse myself in genuine cultural experiences and have connections with people from all around the world. So in March/April of 2023, I started my first 3 Workaways in Tuscany, Italy and --- I LOVE it!!

I am now ready to embark on my first Couchsurfing experience in beautiful Arizona! I hope to be able to connect with local hosts and can make lovely connections and friendships from there :-))
