Currently traveling Asia!

Hi! I'm Pauline. I'M half-German, half-French, grew up in both countries then lived in England for a while. I very recently graduated from university and quit my job in regional TV news to take a gap year to travel. Right now, I'm in Japan (loving every second of it)
and plan to move on to southeast asia sometime in summer.

I'm an absolute film fanatic, very passionate about literature and the fine arts and I love to cook. In hot weather you can usually find me lying in the nearest park (or on the nearest balcony, or fire escape - any place with some sun exposure, really) soaking up the sun and reading a book.

I'm very outgoing and love to meet new people. I love discovering cute bars, I'm not the biggest party animal though and all-night clubbing definitely isn't my thing.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this but Couchsurfing got recommended to me by a friend so here I am. I hope to meet amazing new people wherever I go and learn to see their hometowns through their eyes! (Because, you know, sightseeing is great, but to me the "real cities" beyond the tourist attractions are the most interesting thing about traveling anyway).

When it comes to movies, I watch just about anything (well, except horror movies) - some of my favourites include Inception, Pulp Fiction, Only Lovers Left Alive, and Breakfast at Tiffanys.
