Hey everyone! I'm Pauline, a 19 years-old, friendly, open-minded and very tidy and organized (sometimes a little bit too organized) girl from northern Germany (from a small village that probably no one will know) and after my graduation last summer I decided I want to take a gap year and traveled Australia and Southeast Asia!
Australia was fascinating me and I enjoyed these 6 months of adventures, experiences, new people and mental growing! Afterwards I headed to Indonesia and Thailand and had an amazing time!

Right now I'm living and studying in Lüneburg, Germany and try to travel and experience as much as I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Is there a better way to meet new people and cultures and visit a foreign country?! I don't think so! Sharing is caring and travelling shouldn't be about spending hundreds of dollars on five-star hotels but is rather about relationships, communication and a dry place to sleep. I (most of the time) believe in the power of humanity and I think if everybody would offer their spare couch to travellers there would be a lot more open-minded and people out there who are able to tell exciting stories about all the persons they met in their life!

Interests

I'm a very active person and like to explore everything! I love hiking, bushwalking, exploring hidden beaches and bays, walking through the forest, watching sunrises and sunsets, eating good food in fancy restaurants, cooking a delicious lentil-Dahl and spend a relaxed evening with nice people.
I'm not much of a party-person, so if it's important for you to host someone you can drink one or two beer with, I have to disappoint you :D but other than that I'm very open-minded and excited to meet new people, have good talks and experience the world :-)

Ed Sheeran, Florence and the machine Boy, Tom Odell, some small, not that famous German groups...and a lot of the good old classics. Well, regarding books...I can't lie - I just love Harry Potter!
