About Me
In June 2018 I finished my master degree in sociology at KU Leuven. This moment I'm doing a European voluntary service in France for one year to improve my French, get to know other cultures and to develop myself. I played cello in an orchestra and band. I like travelling around the world and discover new places and people. I prefer hiking and going on adventure rather than laying on a beach and staying in an all-in hotel. I like spending the evenings by going to a pub or concert with friends or by doing some sports.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My Erasmus experience in Sweden gave me the opportunity to get in touch with people from all over the world and to get to knew their habits. Being in back in Belgium is nice, but I miss hanging around with other nationalities. Moreover, I like travelling, but I don't really like being a tourist. I know it's impossible to become one of the natives in every country you visit, but I prefer discovering the local life of a country and the culture of the locals, rather than only visiting the highlights of a town. Couchsurfing gives you the perfect opportunity to gain that insiders view.
