Hey!
I'm Pauline.
I'm 23. From NZ. Christchurch.
It's a pretty sweet country.

I'm not very good at writing about myself really..so I look forward to meeting some couch surfers and hearing who I really 'am'....

So far I've heard - shy/reserved, conservative, sweet, positive, enthusiatic, generous, chocolate, intelligent, curious, kind and soul-searching.
I guess there will be more to come :)

PHILOSOPHY

If an opportunity arises..go for it!

hmmm, I'm not sure I believe in Karma, so at the moment I'm rolling with the third law of motion in that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Even then, this is pretty weak (vaguely relating motion to energy, and energy to the things we do or have happen) when applied to the things in our lives, but I like it better than karma, cause let's face it, shitty things happen to awesome and really lovely people!

Other than that, I generally just treat people how I would like to be treated and things usually work out.
Especially here in London. It's magic in this city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love The Cure, but I also like punk, jazz, folk, rock, eclectic would be an understatement I feel. I admit to attending a barn dance.

I love most books by Margaret Atwood, anticipating MaddAddam which comes out later in the year..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Hong Kong I went for a ride on the harbour on a traditional Chinese Junk (boat) so it was amazing to think about how these boats used to travel around and also how amazing HK is looking from the harbour.

Also going up to the Royal observatory in Greenwich..it's where time begins and ends so it's pretty crazy. I mean, define time and think about human experiences of time? Bit mental innit.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I enjoy Biology quite a lot, so am very educated in environmental issues.

If anyone doesn't understand climate change, I would be so happy to practise my explaining skills as this is one issue I'm pretty interested in.

I like photos. I have a Canon DSLR so am happy to share/teach any of my knowledge.
