Exploring the world ! After a wonderful year of travelling I am now settling down for a while. Saving some money, enjoying my own comfortable bed.... Preparing for the next adventure. Definitely coming soon :)

ABOUT ME

Hey,
my name is Paula Lena but you can call me whatever name you like more. Paula or Lena. I was born in the capital of Germany, then lived in the US for almost 16 months before returning.
Because of my father moving almost every 6 months to another country, I used to travel a lot just to see him.

I love, love, love to get to know all different countries, traditions, and people and Im sure Ill will never be done with trying to experience something new.

People describe me as very open, positive and sporty. I love to try out all different things and being active by getting to know a place through the eyes of a local.
Currently I do not have a couch available as I cant even pinpoint where I am home. There are so many places where I could feel home. However, as soon as I start staying in one place again -. I will be hosting. Promise!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best couchsurfing experience so far ist easy to point out. I was a little scared when I first started a 12 months trip from Alaska to Argentina. Natalia was my first host and she provided me with the best start I could have ever imagined. She treated me like family. We cooked together,met her family, I picked her up after work.

You can become really close in just a week ! She proved to me that there actually are the nicest people around the world. You just have to meet them !

Right now my life is all about travelling. My passion, my dreams, myself - I want to go out, meet new people, get to know new cultures, traditions and try new FOOD !!! =)
I live for achieving my goals wich are actually really high. But I think that you always have to have a strive, a goal that you aim for. And everytime you reach one, you need to get another one. That makes life interesting and challenging.
