ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Pauline, I'm 23 and I have had several opportunities to travel since I'm 17.Each place has taught me a lot and going abroad is always an experience that teaches me a lot about me and the life. I am back from an amazing exchange program in Santiago and right now I am looking for a place to stay in San Francisco in order to do an internship over there. I tend to be a bit discreet and calm at first sight. I see myself as an open-minded person and always wanting to learn something new, learning from people. I fancy listening to people. My friends describe me as a trustworthy person. I can be calm but I like partying as well. I'm interested in discovering new people and new cultures. I enjoy practicing other languages than French such as English or Spanish. Sometimes I just want to escape from work, studies, and the daily routine. People around me say that I can't stay at one place, I always have to know something new. I'm a passionate about cinema and I couldn't live without music. I'm always happy to discover a new group that is almost unknown but that provides my ears with a good sound. Of course, I love going to concerts. I appreciate simple people that take each day as it comes! I also love wandering in a new city and discovering new spots.
I believe that life is made of people you meet and that's why I want to meet as much as possible different people to learn from them. In addition to that, I love eating good food, going to the restaurant, making deserts, and red wine :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any couchsurfing experience yet but I have heard about the good experiences of some friends! Also, I think it's a good way to meet people.

兴趣

I'm currently studying Business Adminisrtation and I like my studies. But I can also be a creative person. Indeed, I like decorating things how I want (I particularly enjoy the concept of reusing old stuf). What's more my main interest is music. I'm also very interested in cinema and recently I started to learn a bit more about photography. I try to make some sport but I'm not a very sportive girl. Of course, I enjoy spending time with friends and meeting new ones.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've been 5 months in Oxford where I have met a lot of people from all around the world while learning English. I learned there how to party, how to live without any parents, how to cope with a host family,... Then I went to Antwerp in Belgium where I also lived in a host family with 3 other friends, they were like brothers. This year abroad was amazing and crazy!
I've also been to Burkina Faso for an humanitarian project. I learned a lot about myself. What's important in life and what is not.
Later, I went to Spain for an Erasmus exchange, which of course was also a good experience. I am now back in Belgium after 5 months spent in Santiago and looking forward to travelling to San Francisco and meeting people there
