About Me
**** Currently unable to host ****
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy the very present moment and find my new balance.
Keep hoping and aiming for more.
ABOUT ME
Well, difficult question! I hope I'm a reliable person, and I know I'm searching for discoveries.
I'm receptive to many senses of humor, because I'm quite a laughing type.
I'm very careful about the impact on our planet of many of the choices I make in life (what to buy for eating, how do I travel, do I throw away that thing or not? ...), and I'm aware that it can be a bit too much for other people... But that's how I like to live my life.
Otherwise, I'm very attentive to the people I'm with, their expectations and so on, and I think I'm quite easy to live with!
Oh, and I have 2 kids, 2 boys actually, that hopefully won't scare you away!
PHILOSOPHY
Try to open your mind as wide as possible !
"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all." Oscar Wilde.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the past I've used couchsurfing a lot while traveling, and then to discover Lisbon and Portugal with other CouchSurfers as I had just moved in the region.
Now I would like to meet new people, keep on learning, discovering, sharing with them!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been hosted a few times in Russia and China (during the first part of my trip around Asia).
Interests
At the moment, I'm going back to some old interests that I had left behind for a while: reading, museums, theatre, drawing, learning the guitar and the piano (I played when I was little, but forgot more or less everything!), and trying to keep my Duolingo streak ever growing :D
I like to cook, I like to run, to go out, I love to sail, I cycle a lot, and (I know I repeat myself...) I would like to discover as many things as possible!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love russian litterature : Tolstoï, Dostoïevski, Gogol, Pouchkine...
And there's a huge pile of books, travel and other genre, near my bed...
As for music I'm very open : rock, classical, reggae, pop...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Experiencing a real storm on a sailboat : I'd always wanted to, but retrospectively I think I've never been crazier in my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach some cooking (I think I know some really good recipes, especially for the sweet tooth!), could explain part of France's History if you're interested.
Learn some of your music, your language, about yourself, as much as possible...
Share our way of life, our culture, share a few days in a lifetime
