About Me
Hello ! My name is Pauline and I'm French.
I recently graduated from my university's Korean Studies department. And I'm preparing a trip to South Korea~
At first I might be pretty shy, insecure, but I'm actually pretty funny, childish and crazy when I don't feel awkward ^___^
Except from being passionated with Korea and its culture, I love learning about any country's culture which I think is so interesting. I had an amazing year in Korea living with people from every part of the world, I just can't wait to experience it again by meeting new people ! I just want to visit sooo many countries~
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to travel the world and sure, get to know the most I can about the places I visit. I assume that the best way to experience one country's culture is by living with native people. Therefore Couchsurfing is for me the perfect way to experience and learn about one's culture !
I can't currently host since I'm in my hometown for a bit and then leave for Korea....

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is maybe the most important thing to me. I listen 24/7 to music, whenever I'm happy, depressed, excited, sad etc
I like american and english rock, pop-rock, pop-punk bands such as Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, The Pretty Reckless, McFly, Muse etc
Since I love dancing, I sure enjoy listening to some dance, pop, rnb songs and jiggle everywhere.
Finally I definitely love k-rock, k-pop, k-rap and listen to lots of groups.
I also love watching movies, american and english TV shows, and finally watching korean and japanese dramas; so if it's also your case, we might end up talking for hours.... oops !
And books, I love reading but I'm also so lazy to start reading a book. I have so many books waiting to be read on my shelves.... one day I'll read them all.... one day. Until today my favorite book is The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I love fantastic stories so you can guess what kind of books I usually read, and what kind of movies I watch. But I can enjoy every type of course, it just depends on my mood !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Korea for one year as an exchange student. Even though it doesn't seem that amazing, it was my first "real" travel abroad, and I was alone, really shy and completely unsure about my skills in korean language. But then i definitely fell in love with the country, and I miss it more and more everyday !
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some French language, share my really limited knowledge hahaha I can listen to people talking about their culture for hours. I lived in a share house so I love discovering about other country's culture, to me it's really so so interesting.
