i'm a quiet person, who prefer listening than talking, but i love sharing ideas with people, or music, books, good movies, way of life !
i'm not a "party" girl, but i really like sharing a good local beer in a good pub, with live music !
i drink a lot of coffee...

I studied biology for health at the university, i wanted to work in research in neurosciences, but 4 years ago i stopped, to live in a different way, at the countryside, learning handicrafts, DIY, gardening, etc....
i worked 2 years at the Natural History Museum of Toulouse (the town i live close to), where i offered visits and animation for people and children, sharing and exchanging knowledges and ideas with them.
I began learning timber framing 1 year ago, and i keep on learning it, with a huge preference for traditional timber framing.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Because i love the idea to share my home with people who need it, for free.
And when i'm travelling, i prefer meet local people rather than going in touristic places, to discover with them good pubs, restaurants, artistic places, or anything else interesting !

Intereses

j'habite actuellement à la campagne où je m'occupe de ma petite maison : potager, bricolage, artisanat.. et le reste du temps je pars en vadrouille, toujours à la recherche de nouvelles rencontres, idées, nouveaux lieux !

I live at the countryside where i take care of my home : garden, DIY, handicraftsman, animals..... and when i'm not, well, i'm travelling, always want to meet new people, new places, new ideas !
I live with 7 other people, the half has room into the house and the other half live in cabins and yurts outside, in the garden. We share food (organic) and organisation, and we welcome artists, sharing with them room for working, and common areas (kitchen, bathroom..).

I like being and living outdoor, the most i can.

i'm now learning traditional carpentry (timber framing), and i also do some handwork with ropes and knots (seamanship) (it's hard to explain, you have to see pictures)
i work a little bit with leather : sailor bag, wallets...
i like hiking, climbing, horse riding, walking in the forest or anywhere in an quiet and no touristic and natural place :)
