About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to spread positivity to all while at the same time busting moves and doing backflips!!!

ABOUT ME

On a random whim, I moved from Guelph, Canada, to Warsaw, Poland. And then on another whim of randomness, I moved to Northern England to do my doctorate in Sociology. That brought me back to Warsaw. And now again on another whim, I moved to Switzerland to become a Professor at the University of St. Gallen. I also just happen to play in a pop-folk band that tours quite a bit around Europe. Hecks, I love random whims. Whims reaffirm my faith in the world, and keep me positive and creative. I invite you all to try whimming it up with me any time...

PHILOSOPHY

To keep dancing. To keep inspiring. To keep loving. To help the evolution of humanity. (While at the same time doing backflips!!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A few years ago, I was part of the show at the Couch Surfing Collective in Montreal. Throughout the summer, I developed a Couchsurfing survey and helped build the Montreal spirit in general.

Interests

my mom, sociology, the BBC World Service, sweaty dance parties, a man named B.K.S. Iyengar, running without a purpose, cheese, pushing the Polish envelope, totaly intensity all the time, being kind to people, hugging, teaching the things I know, connections and interactions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm lucky to say that my life thus far is just a rolling ball of amazing experiences. Naming just one wouldn't be fair to the rest of them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be glad to give you some advice on how to freelance write for travel mags/newspapers, how to cook hearty, healthy, meals made from local ingredients, and how to do basic yoga. I also would love to start a aerobics/dance session in my livingroom!
