About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Remebering that my glass is always half full, not half empty.

ABOUT ME

As every student I was taking my part time job - it was so cool to feel so mature and independent then. After graduating I have switched it to full time job, even trying to run my own company for a short while - and I forgot about my dreams to travel the world (yeaah, so mature and responsible, yeah). But then by accident I met few people traveling across Europe or world, I had this pleasure to host them even if I met them just half an hour ago. And that was it! I asked myself then: why not to try? So I am here :)

PHILOSOPHY

I was given only one life, so I want to live it in the best possible way, exchanging with others as much as it is possible.

"Forget how much it hurts and try again."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have known CS mostly because of urban legends and my friends (hosts and surfers). I was always wondering how it works, but never tried it - until now.
It is easier for me to host people rather than to travel because of regular job (every day the same hours, yeah, that sucks), it is possible mostly on weekends, but in case of emergency I will always try to help. I can also give tips about other issues, like means of transport, parties, concerts, interesting things to see or other technical stuff.
My parents tought me to be tolerant towards everyone, our home was and is always open to everyone - so you can feel like home when you are my guest, but please mind other's rights to rest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am quite fresh at CS, but I give myself and other people some time to start - everyone starts with nothing :) before I have registered on CS site I was hosting people from different parts of Poland and also from Denmark, Netherlands and Mexico. They gave me an idea of becoming firstly host and secondly couchsurfer. These were always nice and valuable experiences.

Interests

People, books, music, self-improving, bicycle, cooking.
People: I love to meet new people, but I try to concentrate on individuals - it's no big deal to meet scores of unknown people every week. It's a big deal to start relations with them to make them familiar.
Books: I'm into good and classical literature - the is no better way to rest than to chill out with a book and good tea in my hand.
Music: it always makes me wonder how can maths and air vibration carry our emotions - but this is still a secret to me. Meanwhile I just enjoy listening: jazz, alternative and electronics.
Self-improving: I love to learn new things, love to improve my skills.
Bicycle: it is my time to think and relax when I take a ride. When I have enough time it usually takes me 4-5 hours, but even an hour makes me a new born. Riding a bike in a forest on a sunny day makes me the happiest person in the whole world.
Cooking: I love to cook cause I love to eat ;)
