Overview
About Me
I'd say I'm a pretty laid back and friendly sort of guy. I enjoy travelling and experiencing different cultures . Currently in Australia, but in October I'll be making my way back to the UK via Laos and Japan. Currently studying Japanese, with the help of my Japanese girlfriend, and looking forward to putting it to the test during my 3 weeks in 日本。
初めまして、ポールです、二十六さい、イグリス人です。よろしくお願いします。

Music, Movies, and Books
Always got a book on the go, enjoy all sorts of genres , even the occasional trashy thriller.
Similarly wide-ranging tastes in music, generally anything with some soul, ie. not the majority of noise in the charts.
I'm a sucker for slow (you might say boring) thought provoking movies. Anything by the Coen brothers usually gets a big thumbs up, No Country for Old Men is a big favourite (Cormac McCarthy is also one of my favourite authors).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with bio-luminescent algae under a full moon on a quiet beach in Thailand.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always keen to learn something new, taste something unfamiliar or be introduced to different styles of music.
If you are near the sea lets go surfing! The mountains? Let's climb/ride/hike!
