About Me

For the past few years I've been moving from country to country just trying to find the perfect spot for me. It's out there somewhere!
I recently graduated from Florida International University located in Miami, Florida with a Masters degree in International Education. I am fascinated with the world and getting to know its many cultures (especially food) and people. I love seeing the main sights but also the lesser-known areas as well (which is a main reason to meet with locals!)
I plan on beginning my "career" soon in International Education, hopefully assisting foreign students studying abroad in the US, or helping facilitate the study abroad process for American students looking to broaden their horizons in other countries.
In the meantime, I am striving to become acquainted and learn about as many cultures and countries as humanly possible on a very limited budget so that I can utilize everything I learn to help the next generation of backpackers/couchsurfers fulfil their dreams of travel as well!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met many people around the world on my travels and look forward to meeting you! I often travel alone so having someone to talk to, go out with, or show me around their town is a definite plus!
Interests
I love traveling, it is basically my life. I also love photography (the two often go hand in hand).
Other things I enjoy include learning languages (mainly Spanish and Portuguese for now but am interested in many others), hiking, being outdoors, reading, or just staying home and relaxing (Sometimes being introverted and staying home is just the best feeling!).
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been working as an English teacher for several years now, both at home and abroad in Spain and South Korea. Therefore, I can definitely help you to learn English (or Spanish) and sympathize with your struggles! In exchange, hopefully you can teach me as MUCH as possible about your country, city, town and way of life and FOOD, FOOD, FOOD!
