Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, new culture and because i think that to discover a city or a country it is better and easier with local advises (and permit to avoid "tourist stuff" and see really nice stuff). And because i m a student and i have not a lot of money to invest in hostel/B&B/guesthouse so when you can ally necessity and pleasure it is perfect :-] !

Interests

I like travel and roots travel (sleep outside and hitchicking) ; but I dont really like organized trip ; for me it is for old people who are afraid about the risk and the adventure. I m interrested (recently) about underground culture about some side i m quite a hippie (dont care about confort, be careful about my food, bike to move in city, nature trip ,..) but dont worry i wash myself
I like hicking and outdoor sports (but im not really good at that =) )
I enjoy create things with my hand : crafting, wood working, repair bike , and i will really enjoy to learn how to forge, pottery, leather working and other things like that. DIY is the future and it is always better to create than to consume (for me)
I like read and watch movie too . And play video games sometimes.
i practice boxing for 2 year.

J'aime voyager et barrouder (tente/stop) je n'aime pas beaucoup les voyages organisés par des agences ou tout est carré, pour moi cela enlève la part d'aventure.
J'aime beaucoup le travail manuel et créer des chose de mes mains : travail du bois, bricolage et aimerai beaucoup apprendre en forge, poterie, et autre travaux de création. J'aime aussi lire, regarder des films et jouer aux jeu vidéos.
Je pratique la boxe française depuis 2 ans.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of Robin HOBB and all of her book (king assassin is my favorite serie) and i like other heroic fantasy book too.
I m open minded in music but i dont really like RAP.
I really like this movies : Usual Suspect, Sin City, V for Vendetta, Green Line, Inside man, and lot of other but i cant put the all list here.

Je suis un grands fan de Robin HOBB et de tout ces livres (L' assassin royal mon préféré) et de l'héroic fantasy en general (mais surtout Robin HOBB).
Je suis plutot ouvert en matiere de music même si j'avoue avoir beaucoup de mal avec le RAP.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meet an elephant in a thai reserve ( it is really different than see a picture too be 5 m to a free elephant ). Ice skate on a frozen lake in Finland (walk on the water = crazy). Organize a hippie festival in France. Hicking in lapland and walk 4 h in a snow storm in the hill with more than 1m of snow.Yes it is not "one thing" :)
