ABOUT ME

I’ve recently moved back to Poland (in September, 19) after 17 years of traveling and living abroad in different places of the world. I’ve decided to take a postgraduate study in Nutrition because it goes well with my interest in Yoga, healthy lifestyle, and the Nature.
For more than 20 years I’ve been vegetarian and for the last 10 my tendency is going to vegan. I really don’t like the smell, taste and looks of meat so please just be aware of it. I’m totally ok with other people eating meat, but maybe not frying it in my house ;)
I traveled around South America, New Zealand and Asia. I did lots of hiking and cycle touring. I love camping and outdoor activities. Mountains are my favorite but I love relaxing by the sea as well. Recently, I’ve got into surfing which is even more of the reason to travel to the seaside.
For the last 10 years I’ve been going to India to study yoga and meditation with my teachers.
Job wise, I’ve been mainly teaching yoga in Asia, working on line teaching languages, or proofreading.
In Laos, I was running my own Ashtanga yoga school, but I closed it and moved to Kyoto, Japan and I will most likely move back there once I finish my studies.
I live in koscielisko, a small mountain town 6-7 km from Zakopane. I love the nature and the mountains.
Every two weeks I travel to Krakow to take classes there.
I can only host sometimes because I often have friends or family coming over, or occasionally, I rent this apartment to tourists. While here you can either do you own thing or if can and have energy we can explore the mountains together.
I’m an introvert, so I do need some quiet time on my own too.

I’m still sorting out my finances here trying to find a place to teach yoga and maybe get some more regular job as well, so please be considerate and don’t demand from me to organize your meals. There are some nice and affordable ‘milk bars’ in Zakopane, where you can find everything you need :)

It would be highly appreciated if someone is into website building or media content and would like to share that knowledge with me :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did participate in some couchsurfing meetings in the past (it’s been some time since I’ve last used couchsurfing) and I did have quite a lot of guest but throu another similar to couchsurfing website for touring cyclist (my place was remote and only people on bicycle were interested in staying there)
