ABOUT ME

I'm a happy fella who enjoys board games and hanging out in gardens. I really love food--growing it, eating it, sharing it. I'm getting married soon and I'm pumped! m currently a masters student at the University of Guelph in Plant Agriculture. My focus is temperate food forest systems--the integration of forest ecosystem principles into agricultural practices to reduce external inputs and increase system resiliency.

I am the president of the board of directors and volivinteer with Transition Guelph--a community organization that works to acknowledge our damaging dependencies on fossil fuels and transition towards interdependence within our community and reskilling.

PHILOSOPHY

Always changing this as I make new relationships with folks. I remain open and interested. Practicing withholding judgement of others and replace it with conversation and relationship.

I chatter, help cook meals, clean up, help design gardens, go for walks, and anything else depending on time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just with folks I know so far mostly in Ontario and Victoria, Canada, except for one time in Paris, France.
