About Me

Graduate Architect, almost fully qualified.

Since finishing my MArch I've been working for a university based research organisation doing Heritage and Culture conservation in Oman. Have had a couple of trips there, documenting their unique landscapes and settlements.
I've Also done / do a bit of teaching at University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent.

I Was in Australia October 2009, with a 12 month working holiday visa.
Worked in Warburton (3 hours east of Melbourne) for 6 months and then traveled Australia.

Studied Architecture at the University of Lincoln in the UK. MArch at Nottingham Trent University
Spent 4 months of (June - September 2012) living and working in Berlin. Great city. Will certainly return there once I improve my German.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted some really nice Germans backpackers in Australia. Amazing experience, great people, whilst working in Warburton, Victoria.
Ended up keeping in contact and then met up again to travel around half of the continent together.
Stayed with some host in a few places in and around Melbourne. And Perth. Had a great time everywhere I went.
And hosted a crowd of Dutch performers (snow apples) in Nottingham.

Interests

easily entertained, Enjoy live music, exercising, socializing and of course avoiding becoming stationary for a too prolonged period of time.
Meeting new people is always an interesting experience.

Read a lot. Love sport, watch / playing..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going 6,000km around the coast of australia by car

trecking for 6 days across the overland track in tasmania

Being circled by a bull shark in open waters was interesting (not part of the tour!)

Seeing remote and historically important areas of Oman, typically off limits to tourists was good too
