I was on a road trip through Alaska with my buddy David a couple of years ago, when I realized the simple beauty of friendship. I had just quit my job, packed up my stuff into my minivan, and left California. I picked him up in Vancouver, and we hit the road all the way up to Mt. Denali and back. There were incredible views and so many stories, but the best part was the feeling of being 12 again with your best friend and having nothing to do and nowhere we had to be. It was the 5 week long conversation that went deep enough for each of us to face our demons and help each other heal.

This is the spirit of why I'm on here.

These days I live simply. I do what I want each day in the form writing, reading, meditating, yoga, rock climbing and learning cello. I appreciate people who see the world uniquely through their own eyes and am lucky to have many such beautiful beings in my life.
