About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Acquire stories, generate fun
ABOUT ME
I'm a mid-twenties Irish guy living in London. I work as a computer game programmer. I'm up for hanging around with anyone who is fun, cool, interesting, and I'm pretty much dtf (down to friend).
PHILOSOPHY
When I comes to a life decision, I like to make the decision that results in the most fun story. Life is about collecting memory and creating a story.
Interests
I Enjoy my job, making computer games.
When I'm not working I like to meet up with friends for drinks or bbqs (mostly in the rain, because London = wet).
I travel as often as I can. I have slightly over-ambitious life mission to see every country in the world. I'm up to around 25.
I also enjoy playing guitar and piano. Used to play in band and gigged around Europe, but the raw power of our music drove us apart and we now live in different countries.
And finally ,I love cooking; I make an unmanageably comforting tikka masala.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty much open to every genre of music, including alt rock, classical, jazz, techo. My fantasy gig would be Squarepusher, Radiohead, Chopin and Hendrix, Bobby McFerrin.
Currently reading Oscar Wilde's "The picture of Dorian Gray". I'm pretty much open to reading any good book of any genre.
Movies are cool too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my best experiences was in Morocco. The culture is so different there to what I'm used to in Europe. It was amazing to get lost in the Souks among the spice huts and pottery shops. It was great fun haggling with the locals. I probably ended up getting ripped off for what I was buying, but the experience was well worth it. I would have loved to explore Muslim culture more, but unfortunately the Mosques were closed off to tourists.
Another really great experience was my trip to Rome in February. We were lucky/unlucky enough to experience Rome covered in snow for the first time in 25 years. It was great to see all the sights covered in snow, and really funny to see the whole city come to a standstill because they had no idea how to cope. Unfortunately, all the sights were closed off; we didn't get to see the inside of the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and all the museums. I guess I'll need to go back to Rome again sometime.
