About Me

I enjoy good sense of humor because it makes life happier and somehow easier. I engage in conversation as well as enjoying silence. I don't quite take myself very seriously and love sarcasm. I can respect privacy and be a fun companion to share experiences.
I studied Biology and now I work as a naturalist tour guide and manage my own ecotour company with my best friend Eric (it's called No Bad Days In Baja). I grew up being very close to nature so I developed a special sense of responsibility and sensibility for it.
I am open minded and positive about life. I enjoy culture, and love to celebrate and party as well (play the right music and you can have me dancing all night), nothing better than to have a good interesting conversation with a glass of wine on one side and a joint on the other. I have traveled around for a while but now I'm settled in La Paz so I'll do more hosting than traveling I guess.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to get to know people from a different perspective. It's a beautiful thing to encounter travelers from other places and get mutually enriched by the cultural differences, share each other's experiences, learn from the other. I like welcoming people to my house and giving them a taste of my life as well as showing them the wonders of La Paz and it's suroundings.

Interests

Exploring previously unknown places, hiking, taking photos, knowing new interesting people, going somewhere to see the sunset, swimming in the sea, scuba diving and free diving, having close encounters with wildlife, listening to music, reading, learning languages and slangs, going to music concerts, knowing new/different cultures, their history and their contemporary society, I like things to be spontaneous but many times planning helps you a lot as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Starting my own ecotours company in La Paz with a friend of mine, called No Bad Days In Baja

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn from everybody, everything, everywhere, anytime. I can help you to learn English or Spanish, talk to you about Mexican culture, marine life, nature conservation, history, present, gastronomy (cook some things as well, I'm vegetarian and sometimes vegan), general culture, music, drugs, sex, family, society, religion, I'm really open to talk and discuss any topic and listen to what others have to say.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help up with the general care of the house/appartment, prepare food for everybody (I really enjoy cooking), share experiences, if I'm staying mid-long-term do the groceries. Laugh, smile :)
