ABOUT ME

I grew up in Curiepe, a village in the north of Venezuela, very close to the Caribbean coast; some beautiful beaches. Curiepe is known for its folk celebrations for Saint John Baptist and its characteristic drumming music styles, "La Tierra del Tambor". This is part of our African heritage.

Choral music changed my life and opened my mind to new horizons. All the traveling that came with becoming a choral musician gave me a more beautiful and broader understanding of life, mainly due to the human connections made with people from so many different places and cultures.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy so much teaching about my culture, I like to teach how to dance Latin American and Venezuelan music, and I also love learning anything related to other peoples culture. Languages are something I enjoy so much... And Music! my life feels blessed when music is around, so, anything I could learn related to it, will be so much appreciated. (Of course, being respectful to everyone music preferences doesn't mean I like every kind of music...)
