About Me

I'm a 28-year old french guy, currently developping a web application in a start-up in Paris.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always wanted to travel alone, knowing some people who had had this experience. Couchsurfing allows to meet new people while travelling alone and is one of the best way to discover cities and countries! When I was in Singapore, Brazil or in Australia, I encountered people who were really nice to me and made me discover part of their cities and life I would never have found about elsewhere ! Even though I am a bit shy, they were friendly and nice enough to try and be open-minded and curious about me, and we ended up having really good time. (one of them started talking to me on the plane between Sydney and Singapore, and I REALLY hate planes, I'm really not at ease when flying, so I was not the friendliest guy ... thank you so muuuuch Kate for being so nice !)

Interests

Travelling obviously, new experiences to live and to share ...

I like to swim and to hike; science and music (I'm a clarinettist and a trumpeter); good films and good books; calm evenings, eating out with a few friends, music festivals and parties; good food and ... yeah, good wine!

I've had interest in card magic a few years ago, and in magic in general. Still have some tricks to show to people =D. Really liked magic, it makes you learn many things, but if you start me on the subject, I can talk about it for quite a long time!

I was part of a band too, as a clarinettist. It was a student street band, we played in cities all over France and Europe, and had a really great time discovering new countries in music =D
