About Me

CURRENT MISSION

In this year I've finished my apprenticeship in the tea-trading-company "Gebrüder Wollenhaupt GmbH". I am planing to study Environmental and Sustainability studies in Lüneburg, Germany, in autumn this year.
Before starting the formal education I have been on a trip through Latin America (Mexico -> Panama) with a school mate which really caught my interest in travelling and getting to know new countries and cultures.
As I have some time now until the university starts I would like to start a new journey - this time with the bike, starting in Monaco or Marseille (southern France for sure !! ;) ), heading over Portugal and Spain on to Gibraltar.
I hope to meet a lot of nice people on this trip.

ABOUT ME
Hey guys, I am Paul, living in Hamburg in a shared appartment with two of my best friends. I am working in a tea company, selling tea internationally. Besides traveling I love to do sports of any kind, go to festivals or concerts or just hang out with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in meeting people from everywhere. In my opinion this is the best way to get to know a culture or country is to meet people directly sharing ideas and having a good time together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my first big trip through Latin-America we have been in Mexico City, where we meet my first Couch-Surfing host called Amauri Mendoza. He was really kind, showing is around, partiing with us. All his family gave us a warm welcome, his mom was sharing best mexican food, while we where having a great Tequilla. This was a great start for our journey and we stayed in contact for a quite long time.
This experience gave me the feeling, that I would be really happy to do the same here in Germany, with you, if you are intersted in.
