Hi !

I'm a student in a big french engineering school, but now in a gap year as an Navigation Officer in the French Navy. I have so many stories to tell you !

People describe me as very open-minded, out-going and talkative. I love partying, but I think it is very important to be serious and rigorous when needed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First, I love meeting new people. We have so many things to learn from other's stories and experiences ! And I think it is very important to meet new people for their culture : it is something that makes up grow up the most. But travelling around the world is not totally free !
The observation is simple : today, plane tickets are very cheap when taken in advance, but hotels are often expensive for a student. Couchsurfing is the best solution to cheap travelling, and in addition to that, you met amazing people who have the same interest in meeting new people !

Interests

I've been playing the piano since I'm five, first learning classical music and then jazz music. I can now improvise in many styles, and I often perform concerts for bars and restaurants.

I also love photography, and I have many photography accesories to always improve ! Photos are souvenirs !

I love playing rugby and volley, it's so cool to play with others ! But sometimes I also love running in nature, wich also provides amazing sensations.

I also love cooking, especially pastries and italian food. Cheers ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I love listening to jazz in the morning : Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Chick Korea, Michel Pettrucianni, Aretha Franklin, Sarah Vaughan, and many others !
I love listening to some more energic music in parties : disco, but also EDM, especially Pantheros, Nhix, Carl Cox.
Before sleeping, I like listening to classical music, mainly romantic : Mendelsohn, Chopin and later Debussy.

MOVIES
I love the french movie OSS117, wich is the funniest I've ever seen. I mainly like action and humour films. My favourite director is Woody Allen.

BOOKS
I mainly love non-fiction books, those that allow to improve in personnality. But I like classical French and English classic novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time, I was with my grandfather, who was pilting a small plane. He told me : "come on, it's your turn", and I piloted the plane a little. It was next to the Mont Blanc, and it was awesome !
The evening, I went camping with him and my little sisters in the mountains : amazing day !

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been teaching piano for three years before ingineering school, and it would be a pleasure to teach you some simple songs ! I also have been teaching mathematics and physics.

I would like to learn fighting sports, because it's a way to learn how to self control.
One of my dream is to learn piloting planes.
