About Me

I love the concept of couch surfing, it's all about finding locals to show you the way in a foreign place; to help you along; to make you feel comfortable. And it's reciprocation, in that they'll return the favour one day, thereby creating a pretty cool community. I've been lucky enough to be in a situation of trust as my first CS experience was hosting 4 American girls, who by the way, were fantastic company.

CURRENT MISSION

Peace, love, respect, hard work and a lot of fun... not that much to ask for :D

ABOUT ME

You can judge for yourself when you meet. I will say that everyone should have a good time and enjoy their experience in a new place.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't work too much unless you love it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I have time, ya know, the usual, being the best host I can and hoping I can be on the flip side one day when I'm travelling to your country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted quite a few times in Glasgow and each time had been fun and unique!

Couch surfing is a great idea and I've still to turn up at another hosts doorstep somewhere in the world.

Interests

Music (of course), I like electronica... world... rock...All types of music and I find music effects my mood greatly (in a good way). I play guitar and Latin percussion! I also have a banjo, but it's had a bust string for a while :s

Art(as I used to paint), Anthropology, erratic weather and if there's a topic I've not discussed before, then hopefully we can discuss it soon :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

visited 8 states (3.55%)Create your own visited map of The World

Once apon a time in Thailand I was on a boat sailing from Krabi to Ko Phangan and on one side of the sky there was a beautiful sunset of deep reds and yellows, on the other side of the sky there was a black cloud of thunder and lightning. Never have I seen such a contrasting sky

I once went paragliding half drunk from the night before. I nearly fell into a river, needless to say, I was very sober in the end :s
