About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm an undergraduate-student from Berlin, majoring in Chinese and Math with the plan of becoming a teacher in the future.

I love seeing different places and getting to know different cultures and people. I'm a very open-minded and curious person who wants to experience as much as possible of the things this world has to offer! :)

PHILOSOPHY

In my opinion it's important to be tolerant, open-minded and treat all people with respect.
So I try to be as free of stereotypes as possible and instead make my own experiences without over-simplifying them.
I try to live sustainably, cutting down on consuming animal products, plastic and other resources.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to get to know a lot of interesting people and have cultural exchanges. Also knowing locals is just the best thing when traveling to a new place. They can show you the best sights, the best food and give you loads of advice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014/15 I worked as a voluntary English teacher in a small town in Guangxi, China. I learned so much during that time and all the people I met really helped me grow.

Another amazing experience was traveling by bus through Yunnan and Sichuan, China. It was a real adventure with altitudes of up to 4500 meters, our very poor language skills and the different culture made it something I'll definitely never forget!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely teach you some German :P

I also love playing music so maybe we can play some music together and share our favorite songs.

I'd love to learn how to play the guitar and I just really enjoy talking about life, different cultures, customs, the world, maths, science and more.

Another topic I'm very interested in is the environment and ways to live more sustainably to better protect our planet :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some basic German dishes... (if I can get the right ingredients) and I can sing a lot of German songs :D
