About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn, to study, to experience and to take in as much new things as possible.

ABOUT ME

I'm Paul, 26, from Berlin. I love Parkour and Sport in general. I also climb, do Martial Arts, and I study peace and conflict studies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hadn't had to much experience with couchsurfing but I am here to change that. I'm used to hosting people though and staying with friends of friends of friends, you know whatever I can find.
Since I've been born and raised in Berlin I would really like to host people in the future and show them my side of the city. Likewise I would love to stay with people who can show me their cities from a different perpective than the one offered in the guidebook.

Interests

I love reading, writing, photography, movies, art, basically all creative outlets you can find plus I have a huge interest in politics and philosophy. I also like to talk about all that stuff alot so if you're looking for someone to spend a night talking about the meaning of life: here I am!
I also do a fair bit of rock climbing and parkour and enjoy all sorts of sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pans Labyrinth, Blade Runner, Lost in Translation and Lord of the Rings are some of my favourite movies.
Music taste changes all the time, but right now i really dig the national, the smiths and the rolling stones.
To even try myself at a favourite book is preposterous but recently I read A Fine Balance and an essay collection by Arundhati Roy, which were both amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most vivid memory I have of recent times was getting lost in Old Delhi at night while a thunderstorm was ravaging. I was running through the downpouring rain, trying to find a good friends local home in the maze that is old delhi. Once I finally reached there I was greeted by him and his family with a steeming hot chai and and warm blancket.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know my way around a camera, so I can teach you some super fancy photo secrets. I also can teach you how to do a backflip if you want.
I definetly have to learn how to cook better so I'm always happy to help out in the kitchen with whatevers needed.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, China, Denmark, France, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, India
