About Me

I attended Ohio State University. I coordinate student organization events with student life. I have been doing Promotional work for the last 7 years, mostly in the Ohio tri-state area. Now that I have graduated, I am working promotions further away & use CS for fun, enlightenment , gain compassion, and understanding from others from all over and different walks of life.
I am open-minded & very out-going. I enjoy sports, comedy, exploring the places I visit for work. My rescue puppy just turned 2 years old. I love my job, because I'm always doing & learning something new! I take pride in learning about new cultures and diverse groups of people/areas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I work as a Brand Ambassador/promotions for different companies at all types of events throughout the U.S. Using CS allows me to experience each visit differently and much more organically! I don't want to work and come back to a hotel room, only to be told where the tourist hot spots are.
Networking is important in my career and in life, so I love meeting as many people as I can, & hopefully our paths will cross again soon! I want to try that local dish from the family owned restaurant around the corner.

Interests

Visit local breweries, get photographs of cool/unique things at the places I go, that are not on tourism book covers! I like swapping CS stories and experiences. I'm always up for something and if it's your city, I am listen to suggestions!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read as much as I would like to now that I'm done with college. I prefer discussion and critical thinking. I've seen to movies to have a favorite! (used to work in a movie theater).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I created a student organization for disability awareness & education called ABILITIES: An Alliance of Students With & Without Disabilities. It now is in it's 4th year & I'm proud to see it grow while I'm no longer there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy all three because I think it is important to be well-rounded to get the most out of life. When I travel, especially for work, I'm more reserved about things that are personal and/or controversial. I'm a guest & respect those providing me with a safe place to stay . I want us all to enjoy the time I'm there. CS seems to be a great way to explore the world and learn from others in a casual atmosphere.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Like I mentioned, I am well-rounded and talkative, the job requires it. I prefer to go with the flow and see how things go. I can cook, tell you all the crazy things I've promoted. I am going to go with the flow. I think things develop how they are supposed to.
