ABOUT ME

My name is Paul. Since december 2010 I am retired. I have travelled around the world and I still do love to meet people around the world. My second love is dancing like free dancing, salsa, merengue, bachata. My third love is easy going by cycling. In summer 2012, I made a beautifull cyclingtour from my hometown Leeuwarden to Stockholm in Sweden. I did met such a lovely people by CS in Germany, Denmark en Sweden. Now it is time to host people of other countries in my home. I am free from prejudice. I am grateful and thankful. I am a very happy man I am a proud dad of four lovely sons. All my sons are busy with music, DJ, producing, playing. I am a happy and friendly man.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My second son Maurice advised me to do also couchsurfing during my cycle-tour from Holland till Sweden. I also have been to a couple of meetings in Leeuwarden, to find out about Couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is a very nice way to meet people in other countries and learn a lot of their languages and their customs. It was so very nice to celebrate with my son Maurice, with Swedish friends, we met with CS, their Midsommar in Stockholm.

Interests

Like I said, I do love meeting people and learn of their customs. I like studying languages. I do speak English, German, Serbic, Kroatic, Frisian, Swedish.
I am going many times to concerts like jazz, blues, classic music, techno and I like it vermuch to go to salsa parties.

The biggest wonder of all. To fall in love and the great joy of getting my four sons! The friendly people I have met all around the world especialy during my cycle-tour in 2012 trough Germany, Denmark and Sweden!
