Hi! I am Pau, 26 years old, from Barcelona, a beautiful city in the Mediterranean sea.
I studied economics in the north of Spain and I did exchange programs in Switzerland and USA. I am working in consultancy since I graduated two years ago.
I am a passionate of discovering new cultures, travelling, hiking and rock'n'roll!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last summer (2013) I traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles with a friend of mine and we couchsurfed in 6 different houses, so I discovered that it was the best way to meet local people with international interests!

Interests

Music: I am a big passionate of rock (The Smiths, Wilco, The War on Drugs, The Clash, Led Zeppelin, Bon Iver, Bob Dylan, The Doors, The Replacements, Big Star… and many more!)
Art: Edward Hopper, Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Jared Buschang, etc.
Sports: I love hikking, cycling and snowboarding!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel!!!! It is the only way of spending money that truly enriches you and expands your points of view!
As I say above, I am a passionate of discovering new cultures and meeting new people!
To list a few moments:
-When I met the family of our guide in the jungle in our trip to Costa Rica. He invited us to her house and after 10 years we are still in touch with them! That trip blew my mind!
-Sunrise at Colorado Canyon. No words can describe it!
-Snowboarding in the Alps after three days of continuous snowing! My favorite sport at its best!
