Overview
About Me
I studied to be an international journalist. So I kinda am. I work for Russia Beyond the Headlines (a media about Russia in many foreign languages), I make short documentaries for them. I have my own photo/video project Tees Aloud (@teesaloud). I take pictures of people and ask them to tell something about T-shirts they are wearing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I finally got my own apartment in Moscow and I'm willing to help travelers from around the world. I'm also looking forward to meet new people abroad, because I think it's more interesting to get to know a city and a country by spending time with locals, it makes you feel not like a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie of all time is Almost Famous, I even bought the script!
Russia is full of crappy pop music, and no one taught me to listen to good music. So I taught myself. The first band I discovered was The White Stripes. It is still the most valuable band for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2014 I was lucky to get on the Late Show with David Letterman. I tried to get inside twice. For the second time I almost lost hope, but somehow I got to see the host and Jim Carrey cracking jokes. It was my dream to get to a late night show, and I almost cried. Now my goal is to see Jimmy Fallon live.
