Overview
About Me
I am young, open minded positively focused and active student from Czech Republic. I am enthusiastic and extroverted. I like hiking, travelling, meeting new and exciting people. I love to have a night conversation with a cigarette about anything and everything.
I am an international activist, I am focusing on environmental, political and sociological problems on this planet and in this global society. I am interested in philosophy, I’m not at all spiritual, but it is really interesting to chat about it. I am interested in politics, both Czech and international. I am interested in sociology and urban studies. I do volunteering, the latest occasion was the war in Ukraine and taking care of the refugees. I can talk about the universe for hours and it is something that I am passionate about. If you dont like the world as it is: patriarchy, injustice, famines, global environmental crisis, greed and lust, then we will get along well.
I try to travel on a limited budget, walk, public transport, hitchhiking, sleep where I can and eat what I make. I'd be very grateful if I could stay with you. I would like to learn new languages, visit new cities and meet new people. I am not a person who likes hotels, expensive bars or fancy restaurants.
I don't want to cause any trouble, it's not my habit. I don’t care about the sleeping space, I carry a mat and a sleepingbag, hell I even have a tent. I would be grateful for a shower, power outlet.
Note that I am a vegetarian, so if you, by any chance, will be cooking, please do a without a meat version. Tysm.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is an amazing platform to meet new people. People across the whole planet can come together and sit down at the same table and enjoy a meal. We can get to know cultures, people, we can experience new adventures and can travel the world. I joined spontaneously, paid 2 euros and immediately fell in love with this way of getting to know each other. I haven't had a bad experience yet, I'm just bummed that this community of amazing people almost died just before I joined.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have dozens of favorite movies, series, books and music, but, I will try to show my taste:
Books: I'd rather read a documentary book than a beletry, at the moment I'm reading a book called "The Yellow Baron" about our corrupt ex-premier. In the past, for example, I've read The Stranger by Albert Camus, Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre, Sapiens by Juval Noach Harari, Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson, A Brief Theory of Time by Stephen Hawking, but also first 5 books of The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski and oh so much more.
As for the music, this is my username on Spotify: 21ibrzezw42qo5tzicu7k456a
Movies: I love marvel movies, especially Doctor Strange. I am in love with every movie that Edgar Wright directs, for example: Baby Driver, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Last Night in Soho, Shaun of the Dead. Of course the one and only Quentin Tarantino, all ten of his movies were just masterpieces. And movies like Interstellar, Martian or like any starwars movie must be mentioned.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am probably most proud of my mention in the NY times, my trip to Slovenian mountains or couchsurfing through Germany for three weeks.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share our stories and backgrounds and that will be the most interesting. I can teach Czech if, for some reason, is somebody interested. I can "teach" you something about relativity of time and basics of western philosophy. I can enrich you on environmental ideas and why it is important to talk about it. I can share or "teach" more, but I want to learn from you <3
What I Can Share with Hosts
We will have a lot of fun I can buy groceries and of course I can share my story.
