Overview
About Me
I’m a fan of all things psychology and philosophy, especially when it leads to a great discussion on different perspectives and ideas. I’m fascinated by exploring different cultures and ways of life, and I find myself getting lost in ancient history as well as modern discussions on existentialism, relationships, and the meaning of happiness. I love specialty coffee, a good glass of wine, and occasionally indulging in craft beer—bonus points if you want to sample some with me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe traveling is about much more than just seeing new places—it’s about connecting with people and cultures on a deeper level. I’m drawn to the idea of making friends across the world, sharing laughs, and learning about each other’s experiences, ideas, and stories. Hosting or being hosted allows for those unique, memorable moments that go beyond the usual tourist spots.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I gravitate towards books that make me think or help me learn something new—Yalom and Fromm are favorites, along with travel books and, of course, classics like The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia.
Movies: I’m a bit of a film enthusiast! From epic stories like Star Wars to heartfelt comedies and thoughtful dramas, I’m usually up for anything with an interesting storyline or a bit of nostalgia.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some of my most memorable experiences have been volunteering and traveling off the beaten path. Whether it’s teaching, learning from locals, or exploring new cities, these journeys have shaped who I am and how I view the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m always up for sharing a new skill or learning from others! I have a passion for psychology and philosophy, and if that’s something you’re interested in, I’d love to have a deep discussion. I also have a decent library at home, which you’re more than welcome to explore.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m happy to share some specialty coffee, good wine, or a sampling of craft beer over a conversation. If you’re into languages, I’m always down for a language exchange too!
