Hello, everybody! The couple in love and travellers from Ukraine are happy to welcome you on our profile page. We are a teacher and an IT system administrator who are positive, outgoing, open-minded and cheerful. We think that travelling is a perfect thing to get to know about the world and let the world to know about Ukraine and Ukrainian people. We are sure that each place is unique and it has its special atmosphere that you can feel and observe with your own heart and eyes.

We think that travelling is the best hobby of all, because it gives you a range of different experiences and an opportunity to meet a lot of kind people who are on the same wavelength as you and it makes you a part of global community of travellers and it helps to look at your life from a different perspective.

It is said that travelling might be dangerous, but we suppose that if you think positively you will meet only nice people who can share their culture and you can do the same.We have already met a lot of such people and we are grateful for this as they inspired us with their example and brought us here. And,hopefully, one day we will became a source of inspiration for some enthusiasts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We used to travel on our own with an online guide that was helpful, but impersonal. And then we met some great people who showed us around the city and we understood that only the local people can know their place perfectly and they can show not only places of interest but make you feel the spirit of the place and its inhabitants. They can tell you the stories of their lives, tell about local lifestyle, national character, culture, places to visit, local cuisine, customs and traditions.

In fact we love a lot of styles, beginning from electronic music and finishing with classical music, because music is an aspect of culture and we are interested in it.

Of course we have our favourites:
Pavel likes electronic music (Trance, Drum & Bass, Deep House, Dubstep, Electro House, House, Progressive House, Tech House, etc), rock, punk and so on.

Olga likes jazz, soul, blues, art rock, R&B, hip hop and classical music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Despite the fact that both of us wee afraid of hights, we climb the mount Chornohora with height of 2022 meters (6,634 ft) above sea level

We can share all the information we learned about travelling. We can tell about places where we have been. We can tell a lot about our native country, culture, people, cuisine, music.

We want to learn everything you can teach us! Especially we would like to know about local life, places of interest.
