COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted several people, and have spent time with some amazing local CS's abroad.

- Travel (obviously)!

- learning Spanish (and that includes listening to Spanish-language music, some of which I now LOVE, and watching Spanish-language films)

- Since recently: social issues and how our consumer habits can make the world a better, or worse place. (e.g. cheap clothes --> sweatshops, etc.)
- a related subject: using technology to REALLY connect people (CS is one great technology project that has connected so many people! But there are other ideas too)

Movies: I love films by Iñárritu, Tim Burton, Mendes, Lynch, Kubrick, Danny Boyle. Hope you get the idea :)

Books: Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Kurt Vonnegut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One recent thing that comes to mind is going to Cuba with my (pretty old) parents. Although I had never thought I'd do that, we had such a wonderful time, and I was so happy I could help them explore this amazing country, and share the memories and experiences with them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach: Russian language and culture, some cooking, photography, how to make iPhone apps, and some other things that I will add later.

I would loveLOVE to practice my Spanish more with some native speakers. Also, I enjoy talking to other photographers.
