Also when I was in Rennes/France to watch my favourite Bulgarian football team Lokomotiv Sofia in European competition in 2007 I missed the final city bus late in the evening to my hotel, and I had to use the car trunk of one unknown, but more than friendly frenchman as my last chance to reach my hotel in 2 a.m :D
