About Me

ABOUT ME

I was born in Moscow, but since childhood I live in Murmansk, the biggest town behind the Polar circle. Positive mind, many hobbies and nice friends help me to see a bright side of life in such a severe place with 40 days of night in winter.
I'm interested in different cultures, countries, people. And traveling by hitchhiking is the best way to feel the real world, to immerse into daily life and culture. I want to see and to know something unusual, not only tourist attractions.
Some friends think I'm a romantic, others call me a skeptic, but the truth is somewhere out there. One night you can meet me in the heart of hardrock party; next day I dance waltz or salsa and then I may take my snowboard and go to ski resort =)

There are NO lie, drugs, alcohol and smoke in my life.

I try to live in harmony with myself and other people, try to break down stereotypes. Being extraordinary is one of my aims, but I'm not very good in it I suppose :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once (2011) I realized I visited very few cities and beautiful places of the world and I must fix this mistake. I believe hitch-hiking and couchsurfing will help me the best :) When I was travelling through Russian north-west summer 2012 (my first hitch-hiking experience), everybody I've met was unbelievable kind with me and after that journey I try to help strangers as much as I can. Chain of kindness will never be broken.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted many times during my first hitchhiking trips in Russia, Scandinavia, Turkey, Armenia and Georgia . Since December 2015 I host travelers and do it with pleasure as often as I can.
