Hey Couchsurfers,

my name's Pavel and Tomas at the same time - feel free to choose the one that's easier to pronounce.
I'm coming from the Czech Republic, you may find this quite small country with its historic and beautiful capital Prague in the very central part of Europe. It's also known as Czechia. But please, we are not Czechoslovakia anymore. The country has split in two like 30 years ago. :D

However, let's talk about me a bit.

I'm a student of Politics and International Relations, later PR and Communication and the Arabic language who's in love with traveling, meeting new people, exploring different cultures and tasting food abroad. I consider these trips and random encounters to be part of a learning process that I won't ever forget.

I have vast volunteering experience in different civil society and youth organizations.
Being pro-active has a big value and importance to me.

What you will probably realize soon after meeting me? I am open-minded and always welcoming to other cultures, religions, culinary spectacles, people's way of humour and anything new. I am a polite, honest, friendly, and grateful person.

I enjoy using Couchsurfing as a unique place to meet like-minded people, often travelers, that would culturally enrich my life by sharing their experience. I love encountering Couchsurfers and getting to know about them, their countries, traditions, and stories to tell as well. I'm interested in learning about your favorite food, music, and dances.

For instance, I like listening to different kinds of music a lot and you wouldn't believe how great can a folk music sound outside of your country - so it's something I always try to learn. And of course, I am also open alike to learn a few words from your language. I appreciate when people talk to me and when we can share some good stories.

I am always ready to share my own stories, skills, and experience. I can teach you local dances, give you some instructions on how to play a guitar or violin if you have some. :D I promise you to have fun and memories and I look forward to having a chance not only to explore places around with you but also to host you when you travel to my country.

Interessi

I've been always eager to have a lot of interests and I owe also some big thanks to my parents for this. I played violin and clarinet for 8 years. I also bought a new 12-strings guitar to play on. I have been singing in many choirs and singing is something that I like not in a shower only. :-)

I don't have any problem to play a computer game from time to time and some work with computer is my daily bread. I can write a new project with it, code a new website or edit a video. I'm interested in some social topics and volunteering, social activities and events etc. So, I look for these opportunities a lot. When I have some free time, I spend it with my friends talking, drinking a beer, helping them with some stuff and school.
Whatever. I just do a lot of things.

Musica, film e libri

I like many types of movies so I can see those with some deeper idea or some comedies to have a fun. Some movies I like the most are the Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, Marvel Movies and so much more. I've seen hundreds of films.

I also prefer some TV shows like House of Cards, The Man in the High Castle, Vikings, Games of Thrones, Naruto, The Big Bang Theory, Sherlock, Narcos

Books: Assassin's Creed, Star Wars, 'Personal Development and Motivation' books
