Now I HOST! and I also surf-- usually to attend dance events around the Midwest and the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once I slept outside on a park bench in Paris, between motorcycles and homeless people, it was the worst night's sleep of my life. I wish I had known about this site then.

Biked from Philadelphia to Texas and the hospitality I experienced was borderline unreal. Before I left, I heard all kinds of reasons why I SHOULDN'T go but no one could have told me how generous people in the US are/were.

Another instance that left me awestruck was visiting Morocco/Brazil and seeing the people happy happy happy to be alive (way more so than in europe and the US) despite having significantly less material wealth. In all of my travels, I've never been happier than amongst Morrocans, Brazilians, and Mexicans...

Well, I've two master degrees (Special Education and Business Administration) and speak French, Spanish, and English fluently. I'm also very much into Swing and Lindy Hop dancing so if you've any questions about pedagogy, finance, languages, or swing dancing let me know!
