Hi there!

My name is Pavla but all of my friends call me Paya.

I never know what to say about myself, so I will use the words of my friends which they often use when talking about me :)

I've heard I am always smiling and positive person, open-mided and always-fun-to-be-around girl. I think you will have to confirm that yourself :)

I'm very passionate about Prague, I love it with all my heart. That's why I started to work as a tour guide - I'm always happy when I can make someone's stay more enjoyable.

But I am mainly a student - I am studying master degree of ecology (Impact of forest fire on insects to be more precise). So I love nature and hiking a lot but that doesn't mean I am not up to for some hanging out. As a true Czech girl I love to hang out with my friends for a beer or five (as the biggest Czech lie says - let's grab one beer!).

So what do I do in my free time besides drinking beer and admiring nature?

I love sports, but I've never been good in ball games. I love running, I do yoga, I've done gymnastic, which I switched for a pole dance 4 years ago. So I am in gym from some time to time.

My another huge passion, maybe even bigger one. is FOOD . I love food. Any type of food. Which is kind of funny, I am practically doing sports to be able to eat that much, haha. So if you are a foodie as me, maybe we can go to some prague unique bistro to grab a bite!

I also like cafes, and I know lots of hiddens one, as a true local :P

I'm enjoying galleries, exhibition, cinemas - even the low budget movies, concerts of various kinds of music and much more.

Nowadays, I live with my boyfriend Ivan in quite spacious room. He is 20 years old, also student of biology :) We are both outgoing and openminded :)

We can offer you our couch in the same room where we sleep. The couch can take 2 people (dont worry, it's comfortable) but as it will steal a bit of our privacy we would like to see that you will try to write some nice message and not just "copy-paste" something.

Please note, we do this because we want you to have a nice stay in Prague. When we will be available, we will try to join you in the city (or you can join me on free walking tour where I work) - if you will want too. But we are students, both of us have to work, so please do have understanding if we wont be able to make it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By my opinion travelling is the most powerful source of education you can get. Nothing will give you more. I am travelling a lot too, but when I am not able to, I always love to meet new interesting people all around the world, that's how am I travelling while staying in Prague :)

Couchsurfing is a great tool for connecting people and I just love that there is something like that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most of the music, but I am kind of more interested in rap music, alternative pop and electro music.

My favourite movie is The Fight Club (my cat is named Marla), I love Tarantino's movies and I am huge movie fan so rather stop talking about movies right here..

I wish I could have more time to read anything else than scientific articles. My favorite book is The Purple Hibiscous from C. N. Adichie, then I love classic - especially the English classic literature. I love Eat, Pray Love too - which I am surprised I am able to confess :D
