ABOUT ME

Marc: Born in Arnhem and grew up in a village nearby called Duiven. To study Chemical Engineering I've moved to Utrecht. After graduation I went to Tilburg for work.

Pavla: Born in the beautiful town Kromeriz (Czech Republic). Studied & worked there for a while. In between went to England for a year. Finally left to Holland for my love.

We then both quit our jobs to travel the world for 3,5 years. Now we're living in beautiful Leiden. Both non-smokers, not die hard party people. We love to have a couple of beers, some wine a nice dinner and chat around.

PHILOSOPHY

There's nothing better than traveling, there's no place like home. It's not easy to find a good compromise.

Used CS a few times on our world trip, met wonderful people through it. We host every now and then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We learned about CS just before we left on our world trip. 3,5 years later we came back home with a hart full of memories to those great CS friends we've made all over the world.

Interests

Traveling (duah), hiking, camping, scuba diving, culture, architecture, arts, a glas beer or wine, cooking, dining together or with friends, sports (mostly the passive way), movies, music, etc. Basically open for anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

By pure coincidence followed a teaching of the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala (India). And yes, the 3,5 year "world trip"
