Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I visit places I love to avoid the touristy magnets because the true gems are elsewhere. I'm hoping that through couchsurfing I'll be able to reach those gems much more effectively since I will have real advice from locals. I also love connecting to everyone around the world, meeting people and then later down the road our paths eventually cross again.
