About Me
Disclaimer: most likely I only host during or around weekends. Hosting is a way of meeting people and also pushing myself to discover Berlin in different ways. So if you request to stay with me, it is the whole bundle. Couch and Pablo included.
Defining or describing one self is always difficult, that is why I think facts can say something less biased.
1993 I was born in Jaen (northern Andalusia, Spain)
2011 I moved to Malaga for my Bachelor's
2015, I finished my BA in Journalism (Málaga)
2015 I worked some months for a newspaper in Malaga
2016 I moved to Cambridge, where I lived for more than a year, working as a waiter and a tour guide.
2017 Spring: RidingtheUK, the biggest adventure of my life. I cycled for 4 months around the British Isles
2017 Autumn: moved to The Hague to study my second Bachelor's: International Studies
2018: I became part of Conscious Kitchen, an organization that fights food waste in Den Haag.
2018 Summer. I cycled for 40 days around Morocco.
2019 Autumn: I moved to Beirut for an internship.

These are facts that talk about me. I could say I am smiley and easy-going. But those are personal opinions and, therefore, subjective. But if you asked me, yes, I would say I am quite smiley and easy-going. ^^
MY PHILOSOPHY
- NO CARS
I see cars as a very useful mean of transport. However, they also represent the mass production society based on consumerism and pollution
- NO BORDERS
They are human constructs. They do not exist, but they appear to be natural separations between peoples. They divide us, they generate inequality, tensions, and nationalism. Nobody has more right over a piece of land than anyone else for the mere fact of being born in a different place.
- NO INHERITANCE
Many people's aim in life is to accumulate wealth for the well-being of their descendants. I respect that. However, they also reproduce economic inequalities among children on top of knowledge capital. Inheritances cause accumulation of capital.
Because of all of this. I try to be:
Minimalist, vegetarian, universalist.
- I am minimalist because I believe the most important thing in life is what you do and what you think. Not what you have. I totally reject Capitalism as the ultimate way of living. I acknowledge the upsides of this system but I am aware of the consequent inequality and constant unhappiness and competition caused by it
- I am vegetarian for environmental reasons.
- I am universalist because the only homeland I really feel is being with my friends and, therefore, every person on the earth is susceptible to become my friend and, thus, my home. That is why I am on CS
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
(See above section)
I think Couchsurfing is not a free accommodation community but something even bigger about friendship and mixing cultures. So when I host or surf I always try to hang out, keep good talks, share a beer, a meal, a walk...
I believe in this social-help philosophy. Meeting people is an excellent way to travel when you can't and to learn, to open your mind and to meet amazing people who change your perception of this world.
Interests
Really concerned about international issues, human behaviour and the origin of the universe. You also must bring an idea and you shall likely be answered.
Now very interested in Permaculture and gardening, Vegetarianism and minimalism.
And of course: Geopolitics, History and Economics.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't play any instrument neither I have a favourite genre. However I love dancing (especially latin music), I'm whistling 50% of the time and mosty likely I'll start rapping freestyle out of the blue at any moment.
My favourite movie is 'Lucky Number Slevin'. Its end is astonishing, its humour is bitter and ironic. There is suspense, laughs, love,... As life.
Books. My very favourite part of these three. Reading is my hobby. Overall I'm very into nonfiction: history, politics, philosophy. Everything that could help me in understanding Human behaviour
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living. It's awesome.
In 2016, I moved to the UK with quite a little knowledge of English and now, one year later, I like to believe I can communicate all my inner world and thoughts pretty well.
I cycled 6,000 km throughout the British Isles in 2017.
I cycled for 40 days around Morocco... in SUMMER!
I grew a YouTube Channel from 0 to 7,000 subscribers in a year and a half!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you video and photo edition! I hope to learn a bit about you: your language, your experiences, your way of life or whatever.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not so much. I am living in a shared house, so I got just what I strictly need. Anyway, I usually say: 'beer and bread must be shared'.
