to stay here on evia as long as possible, and to introduce this mostly unknown greek island to the thinking tourist, and those who like the wilder side of greece and a lot of fun (most important) boring people don't apply to couch here please.

ABOUT ME

about me? ok well i'm an ex creative director/film director, who simply decided there had to be more to life than working 18 hours a day, and hence here i am, having spent the last 20 years or so living here on the island of evia.

i don't have any time for religion, and i prefer to spend my time live, or on line, with people with a sense of fun, and most important a sense of humour.

if you can't laugh, why are you breathing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well as i just joined today i am not really participating at the moment. but the aegean is a beautiful part of Greece, and Evia is possibly the most unknown of the greek islands. so let's say i hope to introduce people to my island, it's culture, and of course it's hospitality.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am currently hosting my third set of surfers.two girls and a guy from Usa/Canada. It's fun they are an interesting bunch, and we haven't stopped laughing for three days, can't be bad , can it?

兴趣

there's not much i don't like, i have the sea on my doorstep, so swimming, barbecues on the beach, especially overnight, winter beachcombing, (I make mirrors and lamps from driftwood for a hobby), all types of music, cooking, (pretty good if i say so myself).

i suppose the most amazing was being blown up by the ira in the birmingham pub bombings and surviving without a scratch. after that everything else pales into insignificance. life is there to be lived, n'est ce pas?

i make lamps and mirrors from driftwood, i renovate and re decorate houses, i look after a number of gardens for friends, and like growing things,(especially to eat).
i'm an ex creative director/film director, so i love photography and design. well there's lots of things really i will help wherever i can.
