Doing a PhD in neuroscience in Switzerland. Graduated in computer science. Croatian. I am investigating the brain mechanisms of hallucinatory experiences - My PhD is about making healthy people hallucinate, by using technology.

I live a dynamic life and I love it. I am always on the move. Somehow I manage to travel somewhere every month. With my best friend, we had a bet - who will first reach 30 countries. I won and now he owes me a trip to a country I have never been to. Thanks to work and studies I lived in 5 different countries. I love learning languages, I guess that would be my biggest hobby. I have a black belt in karate. I love partying and everything that goes with it. Can’t say no to spontaneous drinking nights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through Couchsurfing, I organized 3 road trips with complete strangers. Posted an itinerary of my week-or-two-long travel, said I'd rent a car, and asked people to join. Every time it was a fantastic experience! The community here is absolutely amazing!

Interests

You can talk to me about almost anything – from quantum physics to impressionism art. I like tv-shows and “weird movies”.

Two absolutely favorite things the human mind has ever created: Friends and Harry Potter.

Everything that has to do with “parapsychology”. Actually my dream is to find a way to research these occurrences from the scientific point of view.

I love extreme workouts – I did the Insanity programme twice. But I enjoy food too much so my “abs” never manage to last too long. During summer I enjoy long swimming.

I adore everything Latino: cultures, music, people, language... The Spanish language is the most beautiful sound in the world.
