Mainly I'm an astronomer. I work as night observer at the Astronomical Observatory Kolonica Saddle in eastern Slovakia. I live with my wife Veronika and son Jan in small wooden house near the observatory in nice rural area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As all the astronomers I like to travel. Especially where good conditions for stargazing can be found. Moreover I'm looking to move somewhere during the winter. In this period in Slovakia there are only few clear nights so no chance make astronomical observations. So I prefer to spent the winter in some warmer location.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge of the starry sky. If possible, I travel with small telescope to make my measurements. Of course, I can show the stars to the local people as well.
