I'm a software engineer born in Poland. I lived in London for many years after moving out of my country. I left London in 2020 and I've been mostly travelling since then. I like my work - I've been programming since I was 13 - and I'm happy to talk about it, but it's secondary for me. I work to support my personal goals, not the other way around.

I've recently bought a small camper van, so now when it's warm in Europe, I spend most of the time exploring the continent and camping. In 2022, I spent the most amazing six weeks of my life travelling around Scotland in the van. I am excited for the next year, hoping to explore Iceland and Norway.

I feel best in nature, so most of my recent travels include hiking and trekking. There's pretty much no limit on how much time I could spend in the mountains.

I love photography, especially landscape, which is one more reason why I try to spend as much time in the nature as possible.

When meeting people, I prefer to chat over food or drinks. I like sharing experiences, learning how people live their lives and how they deal with their challenges. I'm always happy to share my thoughts too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far, I've only used Couchsurfing for hangouts while I was travelling around Europe and managed to meet lots of fantastic people along the way.

I'd love to host, but at the moment I don't have a place to stay. Hopefully, it will change in the future.

Favourite book: Kindred by Octavia Butler. Currently trying to read all Stanisław Lem's books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a national champion in Gran Turismo (a racing game on PlayStation) then ended up racing real race cars for a year.
