I'm tall with blond hair and blue eyes. So much for the physical description. I love to travel, meet new people, play sports, watch movies, listen to music and relax. In general, I just like to live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment as much as I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to foster contacts with interesting people from other parts of the world as much as possible. There is little that I enjoy more than meeting new people, either in my hometown or halfway across the globe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no previous couchsurfing experience , but I do have heard nothing but good things from friends who have done it so I thought I would give it a try.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I am reading a lot of Nordic literature right now. Henning mankell, Arnaldur Indridason, Kerstin Ekman et al. Otherwise, I'll read pretty much anything. Shantaram was incredible and anything Dostoevsky writes seems to be brilliant.

Movies: The Dark Knight, Thank You For Smoking, Casino Royale, Eastern Promises, Mel Brooks Films, Borderpost, I could go on but I think I'd run out of room eventually.

Music: I am a fan of most music. I tend to listen to rock (Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Apocalyptica, Audisolave, Econoline Crush), but I also listen to other stuff such as Alexi Murdoch, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Silversun Pickups, Metric, Tiesto, Ladytron, Daft Punk and David Guetta. I've discovered two gems recently in Sam Sparro (he's a little electronic but with a great beat) and Jennifer Scavuzzo, who sings mostly jazz.

Apparent from my knowledge of English, I have found it useful to know bits of German, French and Russian. You'd be amazed at how many European languages derive from those three.
